Ahoi there.

I’m Jo, a freelance Brand Consultant and Creative Director. Specialising in brand identity positioning & design, I love to help meaningful businesses tell their story.

I’ll help you to position your brand in the market and create an engaging visual identity system; either from scratch or a re-fresh. This starts with an initial chat where we’ll discuss who you are as a company and what your business goals are. I then dig a little deeper - researching your market, competitors and defining a strategy for your brand communication and identity.

Next we develop the overarching concept, brand values and essence, which is followed by the visual identity including logo, colour palette, typography and icons; all with guidance on how to keep the brand coherent. We can then work out together which touch points you want to create, from printed packaging to your website, we develop a tailored brand roll out.

For the last 13+ years I have worked with some of the world's most celebrated design studios and brands in London and Amsterdam. From concept to copywriting, brand identity to art direction, I am comfortable leading teams as well as independently tackling creative challenges. With a focus on branding, I am passionate about developing not just a logo, but a voice and entire system for your brand. 

I adapt to any brief, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for all things sustainable or food related. With no set style, I uncover the core of what your brand stands for and visualise it in a consistent, own able and expressive way.
